But we only bring
pre-ordered books to schools.
I have always enjoyed reading to young students in classrooms and answering questions about the weather and TV news. After a few frustrating trips to the book store, I decided to write my own book called, "The Meteorologist in Me."
I hope "The Meteorologist in Me" encourages everyone to take a step forward towards making their dreams a reality. I use the main character, Summer Winters, to teach students about fun weather facts like freezing temperatures, clouds and snowflakes.
Perhaps, more importantly, the message of this book encourages each student to learn a new motto:
"YOU CAN DO ANYTHING YOU PUT YOUR MIND TO,
NO MATTER WHAT!"
This is an order form to add this book to your home library ahead of my visit to your child's classroom next month. thank you for your time and the opportunity to share Summer Winters' story.
Being an immigrant myself and growing up speaking two languages, I have read many books and stories in which the true essence of the theme gets lost in translation. It was my pleasure to make sure that did not happen with Summer’s story!
