Dear Parents,
I have always enjoyed reading to young students in classrooms and answering questions about weather and the news business. After a few frustrating trips to the book store, I decided to write my own book called, "The Meteorologist In Me."
I hope The Meteorologist In Me encourages everyone to take a step forward towards making their dreams a reality. I use the main character, Summer Winters to teach students about fun weather facts like freezing temperatures, clouds and snowflakes. Perhaps, more importantly, the message of this book is to show young students, they can do anything they put their minds to!
It was an awesome day at your child's school reading the book and answering weather questions!
Thank you for your time and the opportunity to share Summer's story.
Warmly,
Brittney Shipp
